This program's goal is to enhance the Borough Management function by providing a career development Program for those eligible individuals who manage a borough.
Program Participation Requirements:
- Borough must be a PSAB member in good standing.
- Open only to borough managers and/or secretaries.
- The job title has to be officially appointed by the borough council and a record of such action submitted to PSAB on official borough letterhead as well as signed by the President of Borough Council.
- Must work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Benefits:
- A term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment policy in the amount of $5,000.
- A bi-annual newsletter to coordinate the BMC activities and to share resources.
- Eligibility to receive the distinguished Certified Borough Official (CBO) designation.
The cost of this program is just $10.00 per enrollee annually.
