Hyde Park Borough in Westmoreland County is nestled along the bank of the Kiskiminetas River. This quiet, close-knit community is home to the only walking bridge in Pennsylvania that connects two counties. More distinctly, it connects two boroughs. This unique structure, locally known as “The Walking Bridge”, connects Hyde Park Borough in Westmoreland County to Leechburg Borough in Armstrong County. It is one of the longest pedestrian suspension footbridges in the U.S.
