Is Your Borough Current with Section 218?
The Department of Labor & Industry will soon be reaching out to borough administrators to ensure that the information it has on file regarding Section 218 agreements is current. It is critical that you respond to this request. It is vital that a municipality's paperwork is correct, so that when employees retire, they receive all the Social Security benefits to which they are entitled.
