Ridgway Borough, the historic county seat of Elk County, is accepting applications for the position of Borough Manager. Duties will include all phases of supervision and management of administrative and public works staff and associated municipal programs. We are a community of 4,000 residents, including a Main Street Program and a National Historic Register District, working in cooperation with regional organizations. Applicant should be an excellent communicator, with knowledge and experience in planning, zoning, code enforcement, grants, economic development, and intergovernmental cooperation. Columbia Borough - Borough Manager

Columbia Borough (pop. 10,400 is searching for a high energy, educated and experienced Borough Manager. Position reports to 7 member Council elected at large for 4 year staggered terms.  $12 million budget.  66 full and part-time employees.  Candidates must have demonstrated experience in labor relations in a union environment, financial administration, economic development and code enforcement.  Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university program in public administration or a related field, and at least five years of experience as chief administrative officer in a municipal government; or any equivalent combination of experience and training is required. New Britain Borough- Borough Manager

New Britain Borough (population 2,400 plus approximately 700 Delaware Valley University students), Bucks County, PA seeks an experienced leader to serve as its Borough Manager/Treasurer. Manager supervises all day-to-day operations, and coordinates activities of a seven-member Borough Council and staff. Current Manager retiring after 16 years. New Britain Borough is located in beautiful Central Bucks County and has maintained a small town atmosphere.  The Borough is currently experiencing growth along its main street which is expected to stimulate further economic revitalization.  Manager administers an annual budget of $2.3 million with two employees including administration, public works, and zoning. The Borough is part of a Regional Police Commission.  Candidates should have (1) at least 3-5 yrs. of municipal management experience; (2) knowledge of modern local government management principles and practices; (3) strong organizational and financial management skills; (4) planning/land development experience; (5) strong communication and interpersonal skills; (6) able to interact effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including a highly-engaged citizenry; and (7) proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.  QuickBooks experience a plus.  Bachelor’s Degree required (in PublicAdministration preferred).
