Minersville Borough - Borough Manager
 

The Borough of Minersville, Schuylkill County, is seeking applications for a full time Borough Manager/Sewer Authority Manager. The Borough has a population of approximately 4300 residents. The Borough and Authority have combined annual budgets of approximately $3,000,000. The Borough and Authority employs 16 full time employees.
 
The ideal applicant will possess a bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, community and economic development, engineering or a related field; will be proactive in promoting the Borough and have experience in grant writing. Strong administrative, financial and budget skills are necessary, as are strong intergovernmental skills and good interpersonal and communication skills. A Wastewater Management license and fiscal management skills will be assets.
 
The Borough Manager is appointed by a seven member council and is the chief administrator of the Borough overseeing department heads, budget preparation and personnel. Salary is commensurate with experience and will range between $40,000 and $65,000.

Bradford Woods Borough - Borough Manager/Secretary


Bradford Woods Borough, Allegheny County, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Borough Manager/Secretary. Bradford Woods Borough encompasses one square mile and has a total population of 1,171. The Borough Manager reports to a 7-member Council and a Mayor. The ideal applicant will be proactive in promoting the Borough and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience or equivalent in preparation and administration of municipal budgets, personnel, public works, Quick Books Pro, payroll, a background in zoning/Borough Code along with strong interpersonal and communication skills (grant writing experience preferred) and web master capabilities.   Applicant is responsible for attending all Borough meetings as well as agencies affiliated with the Borough. Slatington Borough - Borough Manager
 
The Borough of Slatington in northern Lehigh County, with a population of 4200 and a budget of $4.2 million, is seeking candidates for the position of Borough Manager.  Slatington is situated along the Lehigh River about 15 miles north of Allentown, PA.
 
The position entails supervising borough employees (12-15), planning and supervising borough projects, searching and applying for grants, preparing an annual budget, and will be principally responsible for all non-legislative and non-judicial powers and duties of the borough council.
 
The ideal candidate will have a college degree in public/business administration or civil engineering and municipal management or the equivalent experience; municipal experience a plus. Candidate should have strong supervisory and planning skills and be familiar with currently supported versions of Windows and Microsoft Office software products.
