Snowmen of Stroudsburg Brings Business and Arts Together
October 29th, 2020
COVID-19 can’t stop the Snowmen of Stroudsburg, who will be on display Nov. 27 to Mar. 1, 2021. This is the third year for the event developed by Go Collaborative, a non-profit think tank dedicated to helping businesses and artists partner for the community’s benefit.
Crafted in different colors and designs by local artists, around two dozen of the “life-sized” snowmen will be spread in and around downtown Stroudsburg Borough, Monroe County. The plan is to also relocate the snowmen periodically and to encourage everyone to vote for their favorite.
In 2019, many of the downtown businesses offered specials and giveaways in conjunction with the winter-time undertaking, along with additional Go Collaborative projects.
Because of the pandemic, Go Collaborative President Jim Evanisko said the Snowmen of Stroudsburg may add elements to include children and local schools more directly.
