While the insurance industry grows and adapts to changing technologies, Keystone remains committed to growing its municipal insurance program with the PA State Association of Borough.

In that vein, Keystone has named Curt Warner as director of sales development to mentor current and new agents and develop new business opportunities across the nation.

Keystone, one of the top agency partnerships in the U.S., is built on a community of some of the best independent insurance agencies. In PA, Warner will work alongside Association and Affinity Manager Lori Simpson to expand relationships and program opportunities that will benefit all PSAB members.

Warner is not new to the insurance industry, having served as an agent, agency owner, and employee benefits specialist in the Portland, OR area. There, he increased overall sales and customer retention and built management training processes to meet customer demands and service expectations.

Warner has a long history of creating winning teams on a national scale. A former NFL running back with the Seattle Seahawks, he was named the 1985 NFL Comeback Player of the Year by Sports Illustrated. A graduate of Penn State University, he led the PSU football team to their first national championship and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2009.

“Curt brings the right mix of R&D, process, mentorship, and coaching to our team,” noted Joe Joyce, executive vice president of P&C and Geographic Expansion. “He will be invaluable in educating new agents on our core offerings and evaluating new opportunities for expansion as we continue to grow.”

A member of the board of the Autism Society of America, Warner is also the proud father of two children with autism.
