Pennsylvania Local Government Bill of Rights
PSAB has partnered with our local government sister associations to promote a Local Government Bill of Rights and a core set of principles.
Those 5 core principles are:
1. Local Communities Should Guide Local Decisions
2. Land Use and Zoning Belong in Local Hands
3. Protecting Local Governments from Unfunded Mandates
4. Modernizing Public Notice Mandates
5. Encouraging cooperation and local government’s perspectives on proposed regulations and legislation
