Appointment to DEP Advisory Committee

The PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has several advisory committees that assists the DEP in many capacities.  The Sewage Advisory Committee (SAC) reviews proposed rules, regulations, standards and procedures.  In addition, the SAC reviews existing rules, regulations, standards and procedures of the DEP pursuant to the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act of 1996. This committee affords PSAB, and other stakeholders, the opportunity to participate in the development of administrative rules relating to sewage in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 
 
Under the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act, PSAB shall have one appointment to the SAC.  The appointment is for a two-year term which will being April 1, 2023 and run through March 31, 2025.  If you are interested in serving on the SAC, please send an e-mail of interest to Ron Grutza, PSAB Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at rgrutza@boroughs.org before January 23, 2023.
