Greenways Trails and Recreation Programs Grants Available

Grants are available for planning, acquisition, development, rehabilitation and repair of greenways, recreational trails, open space, parks and beautification projects using the Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program (GTRP). Grants shall not exceed $250,000 for any project and a 15% match of the total project cost is required.

Projects involving development, rehabilitation and improvements to public parks, recreation areas, greenways, trails, and river conservation will be considered.

Eligibile Entities Include:

• For-Profit Businesses
• Municipalities
• Councils of Governments
• Authorized Organization
• Institution of Higher Education
• Watershed Organization
